Arts Month Continues

[title]

Hong Kong Arts Month may have ended for now, but it doesn’t stop us from appreciating art. This April, Hotel Stage will be bringing not one, but two art exhibitions to Muse Gallery. These exhibitions will be displayed in several of our hotel rooms first and then shown in our Muse Gallery. Book your room with us and spend time with art up-close!

“Dyssomnia” by Francesco D’adamo

Curated by Eye Contemporary Art Gallery, “Dyssomnia” is a series designed to capture the inspirations behind Italian painter and musician Francesco D’adamo’s work. A selection of Francesco’s mixed media (oil, acrylic, and enamel) on canvas paintings will be displayed to showcase his sentiments of combating insomnia deep into the night with musical notes in his mind.

Praised as the Painter of Music in the art world, Francesco attended private painting classes since he was a child. His love for art never stops and he continues his artistic life dividing his time between painting and his music. He is a registered art therapist as well as the guitar player of the Italian experimental rock band “Nero di Marte” (in English Mars Black). At present he lives and works in Bologna, Italy as a full-time painter

“Dyssomnia” will exhibit in our art rooms from:

3-9 April, 2019

At Muse Gallery from:

13-25 April, 2019

“The Magical Journey on SILK of Maki Kuchida” by Maki Kuchida

Also curated by Eye Contemporary Art Gallery, “The Magical Journey on SILK of Maki Kuchida” represents Japanese artist Maki Kuchida’s vision to combine Chinese traditional Gongbi technique with oil painting style to paint her works on SILK using natural materials like mineral pigments, Chinese ink and gold leaves. In her paintings, one can always see a protagonist little girl wandering inside her dreamy world, which is Kuchida’s way to enlighten viewers to seek for meaning in life.

Maki Kuchida was born in Sizuoka, Japan in 1979. She is one of the important emerging artists from the Tokyo art scene. Her works are shown at various solo exhibitions and art fairs all over the world.

“The Magical Journey on SILK of Maki Kuchida” will exhibit in our art rooms from:
