Who knows what art is, we say. Four contemporary Polish artists, Agnieszka Mori, Rafał Górczyński, Maciej Kurak and Szymon Szymankiewicz, each using a different medium from prints and water colours to posters and three-dimensional objects, try to convince us that they do. Art, to them, represents visual ways of conveying the artist’s ideas and values, his/her reflections on the life and times that we live in. Suggestions, associations and the play with common sense are the crucial elements of their artistic strategy.
“Shortcuts” opens now at Muse Gallery in the basement of Hotel Stage and runs until Nov 5th, 2017, between 12 pm to midnight daily. Come join us and let art connect us with the interior world of these accomplished artists.
