How many can say they’ve savoured wines from China? Discover new flavours this Spring season and join Muse Wine Bar for three nights of wine tasting, appreciating red, white and rosés from Xige Estate and Grace Vineyard. Although grape wine isn’t traditionally Chinese, many vineyards in China today have utilized the nation’s natural resources and modern methodology to become top exporters of wine in the world. For instance, Xige Estate, which is a vineyard in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, has been practicing a self-developed “3126” winemaking rule which consists of 3 months of fermentation, 12 months for aging and 6 months of storage, and it yields high-end wines comparable to those of international wineries. Alternatively, Grace Vineyard, a premium winery in Shanxi, is one of the few wineries in China that combines French wine making traditions with local grape varieties; a unique combination that produces wines recognized by internationally acclaimed wine critics such as Jancis Robinson, James Halliday and more.
