Light N Shade in Sustainable 3D Landscape
The imminent start of another year is a great opportunity to remind us all that sustainability is the path to go for the longevity of mankind on earth. Local artist Margaret Yeung’s latest art exhibition – “Light N Shade in Sustainable 3D Landscape” is the perfect medium to convey this important message. Using recycled copper wire and waste wood, Margaret’s three-dimensional ancient literati landscape paintings interact with light in the art gallery, allowing the play of shadows to portray a natural and artistic form that represents simplicity and tranquility. Margaret invites guests to also engage with her art by shining their mobile phone flashlights at them, which will allow new ways of interpreting the art with the additional shadows. Let’s learn more about sustainability from “Light N Shade in Sustainable 3D Landscape” which will be available at Muse Art Gallery from 5 to 27 November 2021.

November Wines of the Month
November’s Wines of the Month compares two East European regions that are close to each other yet possess very different wine-making history. Separated by Serbia in the middle, Romania has one of the oldest wine-making traditions in the world and the fifth largest wine producers in Europe due to its mountainous regions and unique humus-rich black soil, while Montenegro is a small country where wine-making takes place mainly along the southern and coastal regions of the country. Muse Wine Bar manager, Luke, has specially selected one-of-a-kind bottles from each region for your enjoyment. Wine connoisseurs are invited to savour blends including the 2016 Anima Pinot Noir Dealu Mare from Romania as well as the 2018 Plantaže Vranac Pro Corde from Montenegro.
